Aprrox. 3 hours from Tokyo or Nagoya.
Depending on the direction from which you are coming, you can visit Numazu, Shimizu, Shimoda, Toi, Shuzenji Onsen, and more. A little further afield, there are side trips to Hakone Onsen, Atami Onsen, and many other tourist destinations.
When making the trip to il azzurri, we recommend taking your time to visit the spots and see the sights along the way.
＜When coming by train＞
■Coming from Tokyo Station
１:Take the Saphir Odoriko train to Shimoda Station (about 2 hours and 30 minutes for daily service / about 3 hours for special service), then take a local bus from Shimoda Station (about 50 minutes) or a cab (about 40 minutes).
２:Go to Shuzenji Station by Odoriko Limited Express (approx. 2 hours and 15 minutes), then from Shuzenji Station take an express bus (approx. 80 minutes) or taxi (approx. 60 minutes).
３:Take the Shinkansen bullet train to Mishima Station (approx. 1 hour), then take the Izuhakone Railway, Sunzu Line from Mishima Station to Shuzenji Station (approx. 35 minutes), then from Shuzenji Station take the express bus (approx. 80 minutes) or taxi (approx. 60 minutes).
■Coming from Nagoya Station
Take the Shinkansen bullet train to Mishima Station (approx. 1 hour and 40 minutes), then take the Izuhakone Railway, Sunzu Line from Mishima Station to Shuzenji Station (approx. 35 minutes), then from Shuzenji Station take the express bus (approx. 80 minutes) or taxi (approx. 60 minutes).

■From Tokyo
From Tokyo IC, take Atsugi Highway (about 55 min) → From Odawara, take Route 135 (about 2 hours) → From Shimoda, take Prefectural Road 15 (about 35 min.)
From Tokyo IC, take the Tomei Expressway (approx. 1 hr.) → From Nagaizumi Numazu IC, take Izu-Juukan Expressway (approx. 20 min) → From Kannami Tsukamoto IC, take Izu Chuo Expressway (approx. 20 min) → From Shuzenji, take National Route 136 (approx. 65 min)
■From Nagoya
From Nagoya IC take the Shin Tomei Expressway (approx. 2 hr. 30 min) → From Nagaizumi Numazu IC, take the Izu-Juukan Expressway (approx. 20 min) → From Kannami Tsukamoto IC, take the Izu Chuo Expressway (approx. 20 min) → From Shuzenji, take National Route 136 (approx. 65 min)
＜Coming by ferry or ship＞
From Tokyo IC / Nagoya IC, take Tomei Expressway or New Tomei Expressway ( approx. 2 hours) → From Shimizu IC, take Prefectural Route 54 (approx. 15 minutes) → From Shimizu Port, take Suruga Bay Ferry, (approx. 65 minutes) → From Toi Port, take National Route 136 (approx. 30 minutes)
Getting to Nishiizu without changing trains is quite easy (from Mishima to Dogashima, about 1 hour and 45 minutes)

Tokai Bus operates a regular bus service between Mishima/Izunagaoka and Nishiizu. All seats are unreserved, no express fare charged
Stopovers: Mishima Station, Nagaoka Onsen, Toi Onsen, Toi Port, Koibito Misaki, Koganezaki Crystal Park, Dogashima, Matsuzaki *in the case of stopping over in Shuzenji, the bus only stops at Mishima Station
